The Louis Riel Endowment Fund Committee (Riel-Evate) would like to acknowledge and thank LRSD teachers and staff who donated over $22,000 to the endowment fund this past October during the United Way campaign. This ongoing generosity reflects caring towards students and an investment in their success as the endowment will support programs and initiatives that maintain and strengthen learning, mental health, and overall well-being.   

The Committee extends a warm welcome to Bev Alexiuk, who joined us this past September. Bev has been part of the LRSD family for many years, with her children attending École Marie-Anne Gaboury and Collège Jeanne Sauvé. She has volunteered on parent council events and coached school and community club and teams and has an infectious “can-do” attitude. The Committee is delighted that Bev will be part of initiatives that will grow the endowment fund.
