By 2025:
We will have ensured that the Grade 11 History curriculum thoroughly explores Indigenous histories and perspectives and is framed with Indigenous pedagogies at the centre. This will include incorporating voices, stories, and experiences that reflect the diversity and depth of Indigenous communities, both historically and in contemporary contexts.
By 2027:
We will have reframed the Grade 11 English Language Arts curriculum to focus on Indigenous literature and perspectives. This will involve elevating Indigenous authors and storytelling traditions while fostering critical thinking about the relationships between language, culture, and identity.
