Public Board Meeting Highlights - February 6, 2024

The Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

The board welcomed staff from Glenlawn Collegiate, who presented their progressive assessment practice. 

Information was received on Beyond the Horizon 2.0, the plan to engage students in the budget ThoughtExchange, updates to the LRSD organizational chart, and the information day held for potential new substitutes and casual staff.   

A motion was passed to support the Canadian School Boards Association (CSBA) in an advocacy campaign for a national nutrition program.

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 7:39 p.m.

Official minutes will be posted once approved by the board.

The next regular board meeting is February 20, 2024.  The agenda will be published at www.lrsd.net on February 16.
