Public Board Meeting Highlights - June 25, 2024

Chair Sandy Nemeth called the special meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

The Board approved the issuing of a promissory note to finance capital projects. 

The Chair confirmed that the division has received approval for the final tender package for the new build of the Sage Creek Bonavista School. As a result, a notice of motion at the June 4, 2024, regular meeting to borrow up to $10 million to ensure completion of the new school in Sage Creek in time for the 2025-2026 school year is withdrawn.

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 6:11 p.m.

The next regular meeting of the Board is September 3, 2024.  The agenda will be published at www.lrsd.net on August 30.
