Student Vote is a dynamic, experiential learning program that allows elementary and high school students to experience the voting process firsthand. By engaging in the campaign and casting ballots in a parallel election, students develop a real-world understanding of democracy and build the habits of informed, active citizenship that can last a lifetime. 

Participating schools receive ready-to-use learning materials to teach about government and democracy and facilitate research into the parties and candidates. Ballots, ballot boxes, and voting screens are also provided to coordinate Student Vote Day. 

The learning materials are designed for grades 4 through 12 and are available in English and French.
