International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination
On March 21, the Louis Riel School Division (LRSD) joins the world in marking the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Inequality. This significant day serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to foster a world where everyone is treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity.
LRSD's Student Anti-Racism Group is engaging in a day of learning, reflection, meaningful conversations, and activities aimed at promoting racial equality.
Guest speakers at the event include Michael Redhead-Champagne, a respected community leader from Winnipeg's North End with deep family roots in Shamattawa First Nation, and Jamie Moses, Minister of Economic Development, Investment and Trade and Minister of Natural Resources for the Government of Manitoba.

LRSD is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where diversity is celebrated, and every individual feels valued. By coming together on this important day, we reaffirm our dedication to building a future free from racial discrimination and injustice.
Join us in this transformative journey as we strive to make a lasting impact and pave the way for a more equitable world. Together, we can eliminate racial inequality and create a brighter, more inclusive future for all.
