Dear Windsor Park Collegiate Community,  

I am writing to provide an update on the building exchange plans for Windsor Park Collegiate (WPC) and Collège Béliveau (CB).  

The school division has not yet received provincial funding for the required renovations and additions. As a result, the exchange will not take effect in September 2025 as originally anticipated. 

While the building exchange remains necessary to address projected enrolment growth at Collège Béliveau, slower-than-expected growth has reduced the immediate urgency of the exchange. As shown in the graph below, enrolment at WPC is projected to decline gradually, stabilizing around 510-560 students. The building at 296 Speers Road will aptly serve the WPC community. 

Conversations with provincial officials regarding the building exchange plans have been positive, and we are optimistic about the funding approval. The Minister of Education will tour both buildings in December as part of these ongoing discussions.
