On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, we are delighted to announce that Dave Charney has been appointed as Principal of École St. Germain, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The Board of Trustees confirmed his appointment at the Nov. 5 Regular Board Meeting. 

Dave has been a valued member of the Louis Riel School Division since 2003, beginning his journey as a classroom teacher at Collège Béliveau (CB). In 2014, he transitioned to an administrative role as Vice-Principal at École St. Germain. Four years later, in 2018, he became Vice-Principal of École Provencher, where his dedication and leadership led to his appointment as Principal in 2022. 

Dave leads by example. He gives everything he has as an educator and administrator. Dave believes in open communication and building community with students, families, and staff.
