Report cards on available online and Student Progress Conferences

Dear ÉSG Families,

First term report cards will be available this afternoon, November 18th, through the Parent Portal. These reports highlight your child’s academic progress during the first months of school, along with their Learning Behaviours: personal management skills, active participation in learning, social responsibility, and engagement in using French.

If you have not yet set up your Parent Portal account, please follow the linked instructions to create your login and password and access your child’s report card.

Student Progress Conferences

Conference Manager is now open to book your student progress conference. You can book your conference by clicking here. For assistance, please refer to the attached instructions.

When booking, please keep in mind that there is no supervision between the dismissal bell and the start of the conferences. Also, when booking, consider some “travel time” between classes if you have multiple meetings with your children’s teachers.

Supporting Your Child’s Learning

We encourage you to review the teacher’s comments with a focus on your child’s learning journey rather than solely on results. Report cards are just one way we share information about your child’s progress. They provide a snapshot of their learning and development at this early stage of the school year.

While academic goals are important, fostering a sense of belonging, connection, and engagement is key to maximizing learning. These first months have laid the groundwork for the growth and achievements yet to come in the 2024-2025 school year.

Additional Notes

  • Kindergarten Families: Please see the attached letter explaining the November reporting period for your child.
  • Grades 3 & 4 Families: Your child will bring home a hard copy of their Grade 3 & 4 Provincial Assessments. Additional information about these assessments is included.

Thank you for your ongoing support in your child’s learning journey.
