Weekly reminder for November 18-22nd

Good afternoon École St. Germain families,

Please note our weekly reminders for the week of November 18-22nd:

Photo re-take

Edge Imaging photo re-takes will be on Monday, November 18th.  If your child needs a retake picture, it is recommended that you email their classroom teacher, so they are aware.

 No school

There’s no school on Friday, November 22nd.

 Student progress conferences

Wednesday, November 20th and Thursday, November 21st are our student progress conferences. Our conference manager will open on Saturday, November 16th at 8.00 a.m.  Please click on the following link here to book a student progress conference. (See attached for instructions)  When booking your conference time, please remember that there’s no supervision between the dismissal bell and the start of the conferences.

Save your aluminum tabs for Laila

At École St. Germain, we are proud to support meaningful causes that make a difference in our community. One such initiative is collecting aluminum can tabs to help Laila, a former student of our school, get a specialized power wheelchair. These tabs may seem small, but they add up quickly, and with everyone’s participation, we can make a big impact. Please continue saving your tabs and bringing them to the school—every contribution helps!  (see the attached poster)

PAC - gift card fundraiser ONE week left

Only one week left to support the ÉSG PAC through our Sobeys and Red River Co-Op Grocery gift card fundraiser! Purchase gift cards for your holiday shopping and help raise funds for the ÉSG PAC.

The order deadline is Friday, November 22, 2024, so be sure to place your order soon.  To order, please use this link: https://esgpac.ca/2024-gift-card-fundraiser/

 Upcoming Scholastic Book Fair

We invite you to stop by our Scholastic Book Fair, held in the library during the student progress conferences November 20th and 21st. We will have a machine on site which accepts debit, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. You may wish to consider having an alternative form of payment (cash or cheque) on hand, as sometimes we lose connection in the library. Bringing a reusable bag with you is also encouraged. We look forward to seeing you at the book fair!

Have a great weekend!
