Multilingual Learners event coming up

Louis Riel School Division will be welcoming University of Saskatchewan’s Nadia Prokopchuk to share her extensive knowledge on teaching multilingual learners. 

The College of Education instructor has expertise in bilingual teaching, curriculum development, and EAL program management and research. Her profound understanding of multilingual learns promises to offer invaluable insights. 

All are invited to attend this session to benefit from Nadia’s expertise, particularly regarding culturally responsive teaching. Administrators are encouraged to attend with at least one teacher representative who can transfer the knowledge to their Multilingual Language Learner team. 

The event, titled Moving Towards Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, will take place on May 7, 9 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at the St. Mary’s board office’s Legacy Centre.
