Registering your child for September 2024
As we prepare for the 2024-25 school year, we are happy to share an update related to the registration process at École Sage Creek School (ÉSCS). We look forward to meeting and working with our new students and their parents. It must be noted that, due to our overpopulation, only students living in Sage Creek in September 2024 may attend École Sage Creek School.
Kindergarten
The LRSD is implementing Full Day Kindergarten (FDK) in all of it's elementary schools however there are three schools (including École Sage Creek School), that have issues with being overcapacity. For that reason, we will be offering FDK to four classes of students (2 in the English Program and 2 in the French Immersion Program) with a cap of 24 students per class. Because the cap has been met in both the French Immersion Program and the English Program, new Kindergarten registrations are being redirected to the following schools and please note that the LRSD is providing school bus transportation for the families whose students must attend these alternate schools:
- English Program: Shamrock School
- French Immersion Program: École Guyot

Older students who wish to attend ÉSCS
École Sage Creek School currently offers two different language programs.
- English Program: Kindergarten to Grade 4
- French Immersion Program: Kindergarten to Grade 6 (Please note that, to register your child in French Immersion for Grades 2 and older, they must currently be attending school in a French Immersion program.)
If you will be living in Sage Creek in September 2024, and your wish is to register your child at ÉSCS, please see below for the registration process for September 2024. Because it is so important, I will reiterate that we offer the English Program to students in Kindergarten to Grade 4 and the French Immersion Program to students in Kindergarten to Grade 6.
HOW TO REGISTER
Parents can register using either of 2 ways:
- In person: Because summer holidays are beginning on June 29th, tegistration packages are available at the main office (open Monday - Friday between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm) starting Monday, August 19th.
- On line: Click here to access the "Registration Page" on the LRSD website and follow the instructions. When registering, ensure that you are selecting the registration forms for the correct school year (2024-25). Please note that because all office staff will be on holidays until Monday, August 19th, online registrations will not be processed until the week of August 19th.
