As we begin to prepare for the 2024-2025 school year, École Sage Creek School (ÉSCS) is pleased to share information related to two Kindergarten Information Evenings that will be held in our gymnasium on:

• Monday, February 12^th, 2024 at 6:00 pm
• Thursday, February 15^th, 2024 at 6:00 pm

 We know that this can be a very exciting time for families and we look forward to meeting you and working with your child. The information evenings are intended for Sage Creek residents only (or people who will live in Sage Creek in September 2024) who have children born in 2019 (turning five, on or before December 31^st, 2024).  Although our school is currently overpopulated, please note that all children born in 2019 and who will be living in Sage Creek in September 2024 will be accepted at our school. It is important to note that, due to the information being shared at the information evenings, the target audience for these information evenings is parents only, and parents should not be bringing their child who is the “incoming Kindergarten students” or their siblings.

It should be noted that, in all other LRSD schools, a specific Kindergarten Information Evening is reserved for English schools while a different evening is reserved for French Immersion schools.  Because we offer both the English program and French Immersion program at ÉSCS, we will be sharing information related to both programs at both information evenings. Parents are therefore invited to select whichever date works best for them.

 During the information evening, we will be:

• Sharing information related to what you can expect from our Kindergarten programs.  Please note that Kindergarten is a "half-day" program at École Sage Creek School.
• Explaining the two language programs offered at École Sage Creek School (English program and French Immersion program).
• Sharing information related to the registration process: The Kindergarten Registration packages and further information related to the registration process, including how to indicate a preference for morning or afternoon Kindergarten.
• Answering your questions.
• Giving you an opportunity to explore the school.

Please note that registration packages will be accepted beginning on Tuesday, February 20^th, 2024.  Based on our experience during previous years, families who really need (or want) either morning Kindergarten or afternoon Kindergarten, are strongly encouraged to submit their registration packages very early on the first day of registration (Tuesday, February 20^th, 2024) as the order the registration packages are submitted affects the placement for morning or afternoon Kindergarten.  More information about what you can do to help ensure you receive your preference between morning or afternoon will be shared at the Kindergarten Information Evenings.  If you really need (or want) morning or afternoon Kindergarten, it will be extremely important that you attend an Information Evening to ensure that you have the important information, and that you also plan on submitting your package very early on Tuesday, February 20^th.
