On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, please join us in welcoming Nicholas Kelly to his new appointment as Divisional Principal. The Board of Trustees confirmed his appointment at a Regular Board Meeting on May 7, 2024. An official start date will be established once a new principal is hired for Darwin School and a transition plan is finalized.   

Nicholas began his career with the Louis Riel School Division in 2005, bringing with him many years of experience and knowledge. He has worked as an educational assistant, classroom teacher, student services teacher, and in school administration. In 2009, Nicholas became the acting vice-principal at General Vanier and has since held multiple vice-principal and principal positions in both elementary and high schools. 

Nicholas is committed to helping students strive for excellence and the development of lifelong learning. In his role as Divisional Principal, he will support the student, instructional, and clinical teams in implementing key strategic priorities to enhance outcomes for students and families.
