Principal's Log - Stars Date December 9th, 2024
Good morning everyone.
I hope you had a great weekend enjoying the winter temperatures despite all that snow.
This week is a very crucial and special one as we wrap up our support for two charities aimed at helping our fellow Winnipeggers during this holiday season and beyond. Please consider sending some of the requested items for Main Street Project, and also please sign up for items to contribute for our Holiday Hampers. We know it is a big ask this time of year, but hopefully through our collective generosity we can make a big difference for families in our city.
Our Winter Concerts will happen on Thursday, December 12th. Our matinee / dress rehearsal will be at 1:00PM with doors opening at 12:30PM and our evening performance will be at 6:30PM with doors opening at 6:00PM. Bring your holiday cheer and your singing voices as we will wrap up the show with a student and audience member sing-along song. Sadly, I have to be at the Board Office for the afternoon show, but I will be singing (most likely off key š!) at the evening performance! Also, people have been asking if they can donate new toys and items at the shows, and the answer is – yes absolutely! We will add those items to our Hamper collection or ensure they get dropped off for use by the Cheer Board. Finally, don’t forget about NPAG’s famous Bake Sale! If you wish to contribute baking, all donations must have an ingredients list included and need to be nut free! Baked goods are not to be opened during the performances! Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday!
Have a fantastic day and be careful on the streets and sidewalks!
NPAG News
Please consider joining our NPAG this year!
The Nordale Parents Association is organizing a bake sale to coincide with the schools Winter Concert on Thursday December 12th, 2024.
This has been a great fundraiser for us in the past, generating funding for NPAG initiatives like the end of year BBQ, activity nights and the annual pancake breakfast.
We are looking for baking donations! Baked goods must be nut free and labeled with all included ingredients.
We appreciate your generous support. Baking should be dropped off by 4:00PM on Wednesday, December 11th.
Food purchased from the bake sale must remain unopened during the performances as a precaution for those with food allergies.
Thank you
NPAG
