Hello All,

Welcome to our first full week back at school. It is supposed to be a hot week so please ensure your child has a water bottle and is dressed for some potentially warm classrooms.

Hopefully, you were all able to make it out for Opening Day Conferences. If not, your child’s classroom teacher should be reaching out to touch base. However, don’t hesitate to email the teacher directly if you want to connect. Please remember your first line of contact if you have any questions or should any issues arise is always with your child’s teacher.

Canteen

The canteen is closed until September 16th! We will be meeting with LRSD Staff to revisit our canteen going forward.

Please contact the office if your address, email and/or phone number has changed since last year or since you registered your child in the spring. It is imperative that we have access to accurate and current information.

Collection of School Fees Postponed

As you may be already aware, LRSD has made an important software change that will begin this school year. Tyler SIS will soon be archived, and Power School will be the new system in use across the division. In Power School, you will have the opportunity to view the parent portal for your child(ren)'s classroom information, access report cards and pay fees.

Due to the software changes, some aspects of PowerSchool are not quite online so we are unable to collect the fees for school supplies, lunch program, and Arts option courses. We anticipate this will be ready to go by mid-September. Please do not send any money to the school for these fees. We will be emailing you in the next couple of weeks when you may do so.
