Student and Caregiver Voice:
Hey NMC Students and Families… we want to hear from you.
- What do you need to thrive here?
- What kind of school community do you want to be part of?
Consider these questions, discuss at home. Over the next few weeks, students will have the opportunity to discuss in their classrooms. More details to come.
Spring Clothing Swap
The next clothing swap will be happening Tuesday, April 22 from 12:20pm - 1:00pm. If you have gently used clothing donations, please drop them off in the textiles room (room 119).

•Gentle used clothing of any size/age category (Many students will shop for family members). All unselected items are further donated
•Often a big need is larger sized clothing items and men’s clothing!
•Shoes
•Small bags/backpacks
•Gently used bras/sports bras
•New socks
•Reusable or plastic shopping bags
**Please ensure all donated items are clean/gently used!
Sewing and Sustainability Textile Drive
Term 4 Sewing and Sustainability Project Block will be looking for materials to upcycle through Term 4. If you have any gently used blankets or quilts, beach towels, tablecloths, and curtains that students could use to repurpose please drop them off by the textiles lab. We are ideally hoping to get materials to upcycle that have interesting patterns or textures as well! I have attached images below of examples of what we are hoping to create if that is helpful when sorting donations 🙂 If you have any questions about what may or may not work for upcycling, please reach out to Julie Koch or Jen Davidson. All unused materials will be further donated to community organizations. Thank you!
