Caregiver Conferences

November 21, 4 PM - 7:30 PM, will be NMC's fall Caregiver Conference evening. The goal of this evening is for students to have the opportunity to share their work and progress with their caregivers (parents and guardians).  NMC students have demonstrated growth over this term and it's time to celebrate! Caregivers (must be the listed guardian) can book an appointment with teachers through Conference Manager. Conference Manager will open at 8 am on Tuesday, November 12 and remain open until November 21. Conference appointments are 10 minutes and are intended to share student work, discuss successes, challenges and goals for the next term. If you desire additional time with the teachers, please be in touch with that teacher to set up a separate time in person, over the phone or over Teams. Similarly, teachers may reach out to set up additional conference time with families. It is our hope that students lead the conversation on Caregiver Conference night so expect your young person to share their work, growth and goals, with support from the teachers. Coming to Caregiver Conference evening also offers so much more for everyone who attends. A wide variety of student work from all disciplines and grade levels will be showcased. Certificates for the students recognized at our Torchbearer Celebrations assembly will be available as well as a fun photo booth for students and families to capture memories. We have also invited some community organizations to join us that evening with information booths.  We hope to see you there!

PAC NEWS

NMC's Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meets most months at 7 p.m. on the same day as the monthly Tuesday early dismissal days. The committee is a great way to find out about everything that is happening at the school and to ask questions to school staff.  Many people don't realize that NMC's PAC is advisory only, which means that  there are no fundraisers to organize! All meetings last no more than 1 hour.  Come on out to the next meeting on November 26 to see what it's all about!
