Staff Leaving Victor Mager School
We would like to thank the following staff members for their contributions to Victor Mager School and wish them all the best as they move on to other opportunities next year:

We would like to extend an extra special thank you to Ms. Kelly McDonald. Kelly has taught at Victor Mager School for the last 19 years and has had an enormous impact on so many of our students and the entire school community. We would like to congratulate Kelly on her decision to retire at the end of this school year. Please feel free to extend an email of gratitude or well-wishes to Kelly in the next week at kelly.mcdonald@lrsd.net.
Last Day of School & Early Dismissal
Students will be dismissed early at 2:30 p.m. on their last day of school this Friday, June 28.
Student Progress Reports
Progress reports for the final term will be sent home this Thursday, June 27. Your child’s assigned teacher for the 2024-2025 school year is included within the progress report. A digital copy of the progress report can also be found online. Below are instructions on how to access the report.

School Fees & Student Supplies
School fees will once again be set at $40.00 per student for the 2024-2025 school year. More information about payment of school fees will be provided in September. These fees will be used by the school to purchase supplies for our students. Please simply ensure that your child has a backpack, indoor running shoes, and a water bottle.
Lunch Program
All K-8 students are welcome to stay for a supervised lunch. Caregivers are responsible for sending their child with a lunch. Please note that microwaves will not be available. Over the last few years, Grade 7/8 students were expected to go home for lunch. In the 2024-2025 school year, Grade 7/8 students are welcome to stay as part of our supervised lunch program if necessary.

School Office Closing/Opening
Our school office will be closed for the summer at the end of the school day on Friday, June 28. The office will reopen on Wednesday, August 21 from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Opening Day Conferences
Opening day conferences will take place at Victor Mager School on Wednesday, September 4. On this day, each student and their caregiver will have the opportunity to meet their classroom teacher for 15-20 minutes. There will not be regular classes scheduled on this day. More information about opening day conferences will be sent to you in late August.
First Day Back
Regular classes for all students will resume on Thursday, September 5, at 8:47 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
