Chair of the Board Chris Sigurdson called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m.  

The Board received a presentation on Literacy and Numeracy led by Nicholas Kelly and his team, along with school teams from Lavallee and Hastings Schools.   

Secretary-Treasurer Rudnicki provided the First Quarter report and the 2025-2026 Budget Roadmap.  

The Board made a motion to declare Jamie Rudnicki, Secretary-Treasurer & CFO, as the primary contact for the Canada Revenue Agency and Vannessa Ross, Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, as the alternate contact for the Canada Revenue Agency. 

Superintendent Michalik shared the agenda from the Leadership Team Meeting held on Nov. 14, 2024, and an update on current enrolment and the K-8 class size tracker.  

Assistant Superintendent Cormack provided an update regarding the division's Accessibility Plan.  

Policy DN-4 - Disposition of Property: Vehicles, reviewed by the Policy Review Committee, received second reading and will further be reviewed in committee and brought back for third reading at a future date.  

Derrick Sheldon, Assistant Director of Staff Services, shared a summary of feedback received regarding Policy GBD - Staff Communication.  

The Chair adjourned the meeting at 8:15 p.m.
