Good afternoon,

Just a few quick reminders to finish the week:

United Way Popcorn Fundraiser – Thursday, November 21^st:

All students have the option of giving a $2 donation tomorrow for a small bag of popcorn. Leadership students will visit all of the classrooms in the early afternoon for those students who are interested.

Forms for the United Way pizza fundraiser are also due this Thursday.

Report Cards & Conferences:

We expect student report cards to be posted to the new Parent Portal either Thursday or Friday.

The Conference Manager system will open November 21^st at 6:00 a.m. and close November 26^th at 11:30 p.m. We encourage all families to book a conference with each student’s homeroom teacher for either November 27^th or 28^th between 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. Here is the availability for specialist teachers:

                K-6 Music – Pop-in during conferences or contact Meara.harrison@lrsd.net

                7/8 Band or Guitar – Pop-in during conferences on Wednesday, November 27^th

                Teacher Librarian – M. Acorn will be in the library both nights hosting the book fair

                Student Services – Contact the teacher directly to make an appointment

Free Vaccine Clinic – Thursday, November 21^st:

Hastings School is hosting a free Flu & COVID vaccine clinic November 21^st from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. They are also hosing a bake sale for those who are interested.

Inservice – Friday, November 22^nd: 

A reminder that there is no school on Friday, November 22^nd, as it is a divisional PD Day for staff.
