MAG Community Update - October 31st

We would like to wish those celebrating a Happy Halloween, and may the light of Diwali bring you peace and prosperity!

Finalized Cell Phone Policy:

The cell phone policy that we have implemented since the beginning of the year, has been finalized with help from your feedback. It can be found here: Cell Phone Policy 2024.pdf

2024 MAG Wear:

A reminder that MAG Wear order forms and payment are due into the school office by Monday, November 4th2024 MAG Wear Order Form.pdf

Nutrition Program:

This week’s snack made available to all students was a choice between granola bars (vegan and gluten free) and carrots with ranch dip. We will proceed with one more school-wide snack next week, and then continue to have food items available both in classrooms and the school canteen for those who need them.

Reminders about Student Drop-Off and Pick-up:

Thank you to those who are avoiding entering the back lane and parking lot during peak times (8:40 – 9:10 a.m. and 3:15 – 3:45 p.m.). Those stopping in front of the school on Pulberry Street (away from crosswalks and in designated areas only) are reminded to please keep these stops brief, with the students exiting from the curbside and adults returning to the vehicle immediately. If you will be walking your student to their entrance, you must park on a neighboring street, noting all parking restrictions and keeping clear of all driveways. It is also great to see so many students and families walking and riding to school. Thanks for everyone’s cooperation in being good neighbours and helping keep our students safe!
