June 25 Special Board

The next meeting of the Louis Riel School Division Board of Trustees will be held on June 25, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. To view the draft meeting agenda, click here.

The Board of Trustees values public participation in board meetings and offers three options for meeting participation:

1.  As a general-admission virtual attendee
General-admission virtual attendees may view a livestream of the meeting but may not engage in Public Question Period. No advance registration is required, nor is proof of identity. To access the meeting, visit the LRSD YouTube Channel and select “LIVE”.

2.  As a verified virtual attendee

Verified virtual attendees receive a personalized electronic meeting invitation and may engage in Public Question Period. To access this option:

  • You must register by 8:30 a.m. on the morning of the day of the meeting using the prescribed form and indicating your full name and home address.
  • You must attend 900 St. Mary’s Road during regular office hours and present to the receptionist government-issued photo identification with home address matching the address entered on the registration form. This process only needs to be completed once during the school year. Those with valid lrsd.net email address are exempt.

3.  As an in-person attendee

To attend a board meeting in person, you must register by 8:30 a.m. on the morning of the day of the meeting using the prescribed form. Note that the number of in-person attendees shall not exceed the posted capacity of the meeting room. Also note that resident electors, accredited press representatives, LRSD employees, registered LRSD students and the parents/guardians thereof shall be prioritized for in-person attendance. The in-person attendance list will be finalized the morning of the day of the meeting, with confirmation emails sent by noon.
