On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, we are delighted to announce that Joy Perrott has been appointed as Principal of École Marie-Anne-Gaboury (MAG), effective Jan. 1, 2025. The Board of Trustees confirmed her appointment at the Nov. 5 Regular Board Meeting. 

Joy came to the Louis Riel School Division in 2023 with more than two decades of experience in both classroom and administrative roles. Her last administrative role before coming to LRSD was as principal of Luxton School in the Winnipeg School Division. She stepped into the role of Vice-Principal at École Marie-Anne-Gaboury in 2024.  

Joy is deeply committed to fostering inclusiveness, anti-racism, and anti-oppression. Her leadership style emphasizes learning from one another, celebrating our unique and diverse qualities, and embracing the values that strengthen and unite us.
