An Update on the New School to Serve Students in Sage Creek and Bonavista from Superintendent Michalik

I am pleased to provide an update regarding the second K-8 school in Sage Creek. 

The Louis Riel School Division has received approval from the provincial government for the final tender package. With this approval, the provincial government has committed to covering the full cost of construction.  

This ensures that the project will proceed without delay, and we remain on schedule to open a school with a capacity for 900 French Immersion K-8 students living in Sage Creek and Bonavista in fall 2025. This timely completion will allow the existing school to welcome English program K-8 students living in Sage Creek.
