Season's Greetings from the LRSD Board of Trustees

208026 LRSD Holiday Projects - BoT Message 10.25x5.64.jpgHappy holidays and a big THANK YOU to all of the parents, caregivers and families in the Louis Riel School Division!

It has been three and a half months since we started on this “new” learning journey with our students and community. We have come a long way in a short time. In September, families and students were unsure what to expect returning to school. Some were hesitant to send their children back to a place that was closed only a few months prior, but our families are resilient and didn’t let a pandemic stop us from ensuring our kids have the best learning opportunity possible. This meant creating different learning options for families.

Whether your children are learning in school or from home, they are continuing their education in a way that is much different than it was a year ago. We commend the adaptability of our students, families and staff. It is not easy sending your children into the unknown. We applaud all of you for working with us on all fronts. Your cooperation makes it easier to make changes and move forward in order to reduce the risk to our students. We will continue to pivot as needed, in order to meet provincial guidelines and requirements to ensure the best for our students and staff. Thank you for supporting us through these changes!

We hope that the winter break will bring time for family, fun and rest!

Happy Holidays! Joyeuses Fêtes! Gichi-Nanaakomiding!
