Ron Cadez New Position Announcement
On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team, I am delighted to welcome Ron Cadez to the Norberry Board Office as the Divisional Principal of Instructional Services. He will be taking over from Jeff Anderson, who recently accepted the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services' role.
Ron's knowledge of literacy and numeracy, as well as his years of experience in kindergarten to Grade 12 French Immersion settings, makes him a perfect fit for this role.
Ron began his career at Collège Béliveau as a guitar teacher in 1994. After 10 years in the classroom (and leading an amazing guitar program) he made his way to the administration office, becoming the Collège Béliveau vice-principal in 2004.
After three years at Collège Béliveau, it was time for Ron to venture into the elementary world. Ron discovered his love of early years learning during his initiation into the world of young learners at École Provencher in 2007. After five years of climbing the stairs of the 100-year-old building, Ron agreed to move on to a new adventure at École Howden. He spent the next several years initiating the literacy project that would deepen his understanding of how children struggling to learn how to read can be supported and brought up to grade level.
In 2019, Ron accepted his current assignment at École St. Germain, where he has been sharing his expertise in early years literacy with the staff and the community.
Please join me in welcoming Ron to his new role in LRSD!
Sincerely,
Christian Michalik
