Digital Media Festival to showcase student talent

The submissions are in, and once again it’s time for the Louis Riel School Division Digital Media Festival.

The division values learning through digital media as an innovative and creative experience for students and teachers, and this event is an opportunity for students to show off their talents in film-making and online media. Showcasing the work of students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, this year’s themes include documentary, memories, reflection, tradition, history and anniversary.

All are invited to attend on May 23, 2013, with tickets becoming available from individual schools starting Monday, May 20. The festival takes place at:

900 St. Mary’s Road
Doors open: 6:30 p.m.
Presentations begin: 7:00 p.m.
